Best system on the planet !

I resisted Functional Patterns ideas for 2 years because I was so into Crossfit. However I quickly noticed that Crossfit would put "performance" (meaning hitting heavy PRs or finishing a workout in the shortest amount) of time above long-term joint health. I was implementing Kelly Starrett's advice on a daily basis, but despite having some encouraging results thanks to MFR, I couldn't really solve 100% of the pain in my knee, hip and back.

When I finally dropped my ego and give Functional Patterns a shot, I realized Naudi must have been doing something right.

Now I've been practicing FP for 2-3 years. I strongly believe this is the best system in the world. I reduced my knee, hip and back pain. I improved my running and punching mechanics, my proprioception and posture, as well as my understanding of the human body.

This is definitely a slow process so you have to be really patient and disciplined. Particularly if you are a hard case like me or if you've been doing sports like Yoga or Crossfit for a long time.

Having a FP coach was definitely crucial in the process (shoutout to Tom at FP Dublin !)

Simple potency

These instructional videos are easy to understand and apply. The knowledge put forth is more eye opening than any exercise science curriculum I've ever been apart of. Learning how to break down movement has been extremely beneficial for myself and my clients.

Views from a Personal Trainer

As a personal trainer I've encountered and worked with many different types of clients. From 15 year old baseball athletes to 77 year old women. The one common theme among them all: injuries happen. Some people more than other, some injuries worse than others. I always searched for my niche in this industry because I love working with all types of people so it was difficult at times picking one or two things to specialize in. When I discovered Functional Patterns I realized it was the clear-cut choice. They offer top-of-the-line educational material, clear paths for progression, and a pain-free mission that ANYONE can get behind. Be it the 15 year old baseball athlete trying to avoid albow and shoulder injuries as a pitcher, or the 77 year old woman looking to stay fit through years of lower back pain.

As a trainer- this is a fool-proof way to get your clients in phenomenal shape while living a pain free life. Personally, I often suffered set-backs in my own training due to chronic shoulder impingement, pulled hamstrings, and other nagging but "not-so-serious" injuries. I often fell short of my own goals because every time I was almost there another issue would pop up. FP offered me a way to have fun while working out, see incredible gains, and alleviate a scoliosis that had developed due to years of bad posture and movement patterns.

I can not recommend FP enough, it truly is the standard of the fitness, rehab/prehab, and pain management industry.

Excellent System, Excellent Product

I've been doing Function Patterns training methodologies for around 5 years now and this course provided me with a lot of clarification and has given me some new, fun moves to test myself with. It's one thing to try and mimic the moves you see people doing on Instagram but this course goes into great detail on where, why, how and when to move which takes all the guess work out of moving functionally. It's already improved my application and understanding of how to move better and stay pain free and I would recommend this to anyone interested in Functional Patterns-regardless of if you're beginner or advanced.

The FTS system: where movement is medicine

Having bought the ten week online course a few years ago I was eager to try the new FTS system and from what I can tell you it’s surpassed expectation.

Not only are you learning new concepts with meticulous detail but the exercises are broken down from levels 1-5 so you can progress at your own rate.

You can save your favourite exercises and create your own workout routine. Not only will you get a sweat on but you’ll be moving in ways you never thought you would highly recommend !
