A botched routine surgery lead April to have severe nerve damage down her left leg, setting in neuropathy, and complete drop foot. After six weeks in medical facilities, she was sent home with a walker, needing home assistance. She did PT for 3 months but saw very little improvement. She quit physical therapy to do FP with @fp_staugustine @__alexberg__
Great work you two! 💪

April’s Testimonial: “In late, December, I had abdominal surgery to fix pre-existing hernias. Within a week my body reacted to the trauma with compartment syndrome, shutting down organs, putting me into acute renal failure, and the swelling caused nerve damage down my left leg, setting in neuropathy, and complete drop foot. After six weeks in medical facilities, I was sent home with a walker, needing home assistance.
I did Physical Therapy for 3 months with a walker and a month on crutches and saw very little improvement. The neurologist told me it would take a year to get around unassisted. Another specialist told me “wherever my progress was 6 months after the traumas would be all the progress I’d be able to make for good”
I reached out to Alex 5 months post surgery hoping for a better outcome than what was occurring and what I was being told by my PTs and specialists. My goals were to be able to get around unassisted, be able to jog and get back to boxing which I love to do. We have been training for only 4 months and I’m able to run, do all my daily activities without help and am back working now as a massage therapist after being out of work since the surgery. FP has been a much more effective solution than what I was given by the medical field.”
