Like Yoga? Then you'll love FP.

If you're into yoga then you're into taking good care of your mind and body.

Yoga is about slowing things down and taking some deep breaths in order to control how you are responding to the stresses of life.

We feel that yoga can definitely help with this.

The 8 limbs of yoga do a great job of outlining what one could do to live a purposeful and meaningful life, but if you take a look at each limb there isn't a limb for movement.

This is why we have been working on creating a practice of movement that goes hand in hand with what yoga is all about, good health!

If you like yoga, you’ll love our FP Intro Program.

It is designed to help you move better in ways that matter most
for having long term good health.

The closest you will get to movement in yoga is Asana.

It is a Sanskrit word meaning “posture,” “seat,” or “place.”

Asanas are the physical positions we get into during a yoga class.

But that's the thing,

the asanas are all about staying in one place

on the mat the whole time.

Our lives don’t require us to stay put in one place.

As humans our bodies were made to move from place to place.

Walking and running being our main form of movement.

You remember from history class, we were hunters and gatherers.

Our bodies were made to move and when we can’t move well is when the

pains and stressors start to settle in.

You’ve heard the saying, “you don't stop running because you get old,

you get old because you stop running.”

We agree but you don't have to run miles and miles and put tons

of stress on your joints mindlessly running like everyone else.

You just need to understand how to move in ways that make running an easy task.

This is where we come in.

We take running mechanics and divide it into smaller

digestible bits for anyone to understand.

We teach you exercises that will help correct the way you walk and run

 without you even knowing it.

We have designed an easy to do FP Intro Program that will introduce you

to some of the main concepts of our method.

Starting with learning how to deal with tight muscles the right way then leading you towards understanding what good and bad postures are all about.

Finally we will introduce you to some of the most useful exercises that will lay the foundation you will need to build long lasting pain free movement and health.
