I got hope again

I am 26 years old and a professional athlete (german nationalteam wrestling). I trained the last 10 years a lot tradiotional weightlifting (bench press, dead lift, deep squat, ..) and had so much pain in my every day training on the mat. I had many injuries und too much surgerys (right shoulder, left shoulder, both knees). I nearly was at a point in my life, where I thought my body is not made for this professionell sport carreer and I have to retire. Some months ago I found FP and now I'm doining it everyday (10week online program, functional training system). I started to see first changes in my body and that gave me hope again. I now work two days per week with an FP practitioner (Tobias P.) and I think I found the solution for my lifelong problems. I am really looking forward to my journey with FP, because I know I am only at the beginning right now.

Thanks Naudi for your work and for giving me hope, that I can still chase the dream of becoming an olympic champion one day.

Life Changing Info

I slowly began to integrate FP into my workouts around 4 years ago after being turned on to Naudi by a personal trainer I was frequenting. I’ve purchased the Power of Posture, the 10 week course and the Functional Training System and have worked through all of them. Since I’ve begun to incorporate more FP and less conventional weight lifting, my right shoulder which would always hurt while pressing has improved where I can press and throw with 90% less pain, my hip pain from years of ankle injury-related gait cycle compensation has gone from daily pain to almost non existent, and my weight shift improvement onto my previously injured ankle has allowed me to run better than I have since I was in high school. I have only scratched the surface of my dysfunctions but finally feel I’m on a path to actual wellness. I’m looking forward to when a licensed FP trainer makes their way to the Cleveland/Pittsburgh area. Naudi is the Elon Musk of the fitness industry. Stop eating grains, ditch the ego, and embrace FP. Your body will thank you.

guidelines for human kinesiology from basic to advanced movements

I am just a beginner in FP and greatly appreciate your approach to explanation of muscle function, dysfuction and cooperation in basic human activities like standing, walking etc. ... I try to undetstand, the book and videos are instructive, but I am not a native speaker of English and some special terms and nuances not sure to understand correctly for example anterior pelvic shift vs tilt. I started low and go slow in my FP training activities.

Fortunately my 13y old daughter is doing athletics +FP, is a great FP fun, much advanced in FP and in oppostite to me she knows everything and understand to. So we both enjoy FP trainings, discuss about FP and for me FP is an opportunity spent more time with my child.

This is pure gold!

Very good system with focus on the details! I have been training FP only for two years now and the pain in my back that I’ve had for about ten years is gone. I would strongly recommend that you start with the 10- week coure first

FP makes the first logical leap away from traditional exercise

Ex strength coach / PT. Had a lower-back injury from pushing myself too hard with deads and squats, I've never been the same since. Ended up with a walking stick at least once or twice a year from heavy hinge-lifts since that first injury.

The rotational elements of FP movements are paramount in creating efficiency and true strength in day-to-day life as well as athletic activities (for me, that's boxing). And when I stay on-track with FP my body simply 'feels' better, I'm not cringing when I lift something, or pick up one of my kids, my punches are more powerful and I feel much more stable when I'm doing multi-plane movement patterns.

I'm not an FP purist - my ego tends to get the better of me sometimes and I end up reintroducing some of the usual compounds back into my routines, like pull-ups / monkey-bar swings, DB presses, and heavyweight lunges... BUT the movements I'm able to adopt (my garage doesn't have the space for all of the exercises) from Functional Patterns act as my foundation and staple movements. I won't ever get rid of what I've learned from Naudi. Recommend it to everyone.
