Breaking the Pain Loop

Breaking the Pain Loop

Breaking the Pain Loop

Most people don’t realize how fast the body can fall apart when you stack the wrong mechanics for long enough. You train in ways that don’t respect how a human is built to move, and eventually the bill comes due. That’s the loop Brandon here was stuck in for more than a decade, a loop most people never get out of.

He tore his hip flexor at 16 trying to land an aerial. By 20, even walking for 30 minutes hurt. Muscle atrophy kicked in because the nervous system was fighting the body every step of the way. Training became a cycle of flare-ups and setbacks because the input never matched the biology.

When he found FP at 27, everything clicked. The problem wasn’t the injuries, it was the mechanics. Once he committed to the @10weekonlineprogram and then continued the process with @mannyalonsohernandez at 28, his body finally started behaving the way a human body should: integrating, stabilizing, and producing force without the collateral damage.

Today, he moves better at 30 than he ever did in his so-called “prime.” The shoulder pain and clicking that followed him for years? Gone. Hip and knee pain that once sat at an 8 or higher? Nearly gone. His movement isn’t just better his nervous system is calmer.

This is what happens when you stop fighting your biology and start training with it.

Before
❌ Hip pain 8/10
❌ Shoulder pain 6/10
❌ Knee pain 8/10
❌ Constant clicking and instability
❌ Couldn’t walk more than 30 minutes without pain
❌ Muscle atrophy from fear of movement
❌ Nervous system overstressed (shaking/sweating under pressure)

After
✔️ Hip pain down to 2/10
✔️ Shoulder pain essentially gone
✔️ Knee pain down to 1/10
✔️ More mobility, control, and engagement than ever
✔️ Can move dynamically without fear
✔️ Nervous system grounded and steady
✔️ Stronger, more capable, more consistent movement than at his “peak”
