June is Men's Health Month: Learn from Luke

Luke’s case demonstrates this perfectly. After being told by his surgeon that “any further surgeries won’t help,” he was left with a body that had essentially shut down. The conventional training he was used to only amplified his dysfunction.

BEFORE:
❌ Compressed lower back: 9/10 pain
❌ Ankle: 9/10 pain with severely limited ROM post-surgery
❌ Kyphotic posture with depressed shoulders
❌ Dreaded training because it only made things worse

AFTER (10 months of FP):
✅ Lower back pain: 1/10 with decompression
✅ Ankle pain: 1/10 with massive ROM improvements
✅ Corrected kyphosis and shoulder positioning
✅ Can put on socks standing up
✅ Works on his feet without constant pain

The human body operates as an integrated system, not isolated parts. When you address the mechanical dysfunctions that create compensatory patterns, you don’t just manage symptoms, you eliminate the root cause.

Luke trains once per week with his practitioner @steve_zekic He performs myofascial release, and repeats workouts independently. Combined with proper nutrition, sleep, and sun exposure, his body continues to improve because he’s on a path that actually works.
This is what happens when you stop chasing pain and start correcting function.
