At FP, we don’t treat posture as just a preference. It’s the baseline your body moves from. If you’re stuck in poor alignment—like kyphosis—that dysfunction shows up every time you move or train.
The spine needs to extend when you run. If you can’t access that because your posture is locked in the opposite direction, you’re skipping key functions. Skipping functions means compensations. And compensations lead to pain.
Fixing your posture isn’t about standing still—it’s about moving better. A balanced posture gives you the best shot at staying out of pain and performing at your best.
