Do i need to be fit and healthy to do this course?

No, we have all kinds of people getting great results with our course. We do however suggest that if you have any pre-exisiting issues that you do seek medical advice before commencing the course.

Is there any specialist equipment required?

The tools required to complete the 10-week course include:

  • Assorted balls for myofascial release
  • Dumbbells
  • Thera-Cane
  • PVC Pipe (foam roller progression)
  • Varied Resistance Bands

How much time do I need to allocate to the course?

We recommend spending 1 hour per training session working on the 10 week course. It is advised to train using the course material at least 3-5 times per week. You are welcome to train daily if your body is up to it, but you are also encouraged to take time to recover as needed

Is there an APP?

Our course plaform can be saved to any device and used like a native app. This ensures a smooth and frictionless course experience.

Happy Therapist

I’ve been studying and practicing Functional Patterns for a little over two years and reference the 10 week course close to daily for myself and my work as a personal trainer. Weeks 1-3 of myofascial release were what initially hooked me. While some people may find it a chore, I find MFR to be truly enjoyable. When I began the course, I was experiencing wrist and elbow joint pain from my work as a manual therapist, as well as neck and shoulder tensions from surfing. I was a competitive soccer player through my early 20’s, and then amped up my time in the ocean throughout my 20’s as a surfer. Before FP, training and therapy outside of my sport of choice consisted of yoga, long distance running and occasionally excessive squats (definitely done without proper glut activation). When I became a massage therapist in my mid 20’s I began to feel like my body was starting to break down due to the physical demand of manual therapy plus surfing, combined with poor cross training. My partner introduced me to Functional Patterns, I bought the 10 week course, and it felt like my way out of the pains and drain I was feeling at a young age. I am still blown away by the meticulous design and insight into the body the 10 week online course provides. I’m currently pain free, and able to work, exercise and surf without feeling rundown or running into excessive tensions, thanks to the potency of the techniques in this course. The complexity is such that I am still working on locking down…

Teaching to the problem...

We live in a society that teaches to the tools and not the problem. Naudi has figured it out buy reverse engineering the process. Traditionally, we have learned, "here is the tool, fix your body". FP fundamentally challenged that with, "here is your body, this is where its dysfunctional, here are the tools to fix it". Hence, "train intentionally". Amazing work!

My pain is finally leaving!

I'm a combat military veteran. Pain has been my close and intimate friend for over a decade. I've tried all sorts of physical therapy, chiropractic work, and even surgery to mitigate this pain to minimal success. I've also gone through several workout programs thinking they would work too...not so much.

I got a personal trainer at the local gym, and after 5x of them quit over the coarse of that year I met Lu. He is a Functional Patterns Kung Fu Master. He saw WHY I was in pain, ADDRESSED my muscular imbalances, and TAUGHT me how to move more effectively. Sadly, my time with Lu came to an end, but not before he aimed me to the FP page and workout programs.

I am at least 50% stronger than when I was in combat fighting condition, and my pains have largely disappeared. I am still finding little issues here and there that are bubbling up due to years of improper use, but they are short lived and are way easier to deal with than my original pains.

It is my highest and best recommendation to start this program and take the time to do it correctly. I will stay on FP for the remainder of my life.

Very impressed with what I feel

I have been doing FP for 7 weeks now and am very impressed with the way my body is starting to respond to the MFR and corrective exercises. I have done a lot of "dsyfunctional" training over the years to move with more ease and smoothness, but have not been able to get muscle engagement this well ever. Thank you FP!
