Lee's Improvement in Parkison's

Lee's Improvement in Parkison's

Meet Lee, a 60-year-old client who has been living with Parkinson’s disease for nearly 20 years. He began training at @fp.taiwan in February 2020 using exclusively Functional Patterns protocols. Over two years of consistent work, Lee has made measurable improvements in coordination, posture, and overall movement quality.

What You’ll See in the Video:

1. Right Arm Throw:

Lee is no longer throwing just with his arm. He now integrates his lead arm, weight transfer, and leg swing, resulting in greater coordination and explosiveness.

2. Left Arm Throw (Non-Dominant Side):

Improved weight transfer, increased involvement of the lead arm, and visible chest opening — all indicators of enhanced movement efficiency.

3. Postural Improvements:

As is common with Parkinson’s, Lee previously had a stooped posture. He now stands more upright, with a stronger spinal alignment.

4. Walking Mechanics:

These clips show improvements in gait speed, turning ability, arm swing, and upright posture — all signs of functional gains.

5. Client Testimonial:

Hear directly from Lee about his journey and the changes he’s experienced since beginning Functional Patterns training.
